*Zaterdagmiddag 1 juni, *om 16. 00, draait eenmalig de documentaire *WhatEver will Be* in Rialto, over de transseksuele vriendinnen Cilla en Ilona. De Nederlandse regisseuse Esther Prade volgde de twee jarenlang en ontdekte dat hun worsteling met het leven veel gelijkenis vertoont met hoe zij zelf in het leven staat. *WhatEver Will Be* is een prachtige film waarin zij niet alleen Cilla en Ilona, maar ook zichzelf portretteert. Het is een indringende film over anders-zijn. Na afloop interviewt Hanneke Groenteman de maakster en de twee hoofdrolspeelsters. COC leden krijgen, op vertoon van hun lidmaatschap €2.

Na haar carrière in New York verbleef ze eind tachtiger jaren in Berlijn en had daar grote invloed op de Afro-Duitse vrouwenbeweging. Over deze periode is een film gemaakt, "Audre Lorde - The Berlin Years 1984 to 1992". Deze film is op 11 juni te zien, 20. 00 uur, in OT301 te Amsterdam (Overtoom 31). Daarna is er een discussie met Gloria Wekker, professor Gender & Ethniciteit aan de Universiteit Utrecht.

We invite you to join them in exploring masculinity in all his/her/its multifaceted variety. Dare to experiment! Seriously DIEP is not your traditional academic conference, but an experimental pop-up university, challenging academics and students to move outside of their theoretical frameworks and disciplinary boundaries. We offer students the opportunity to join academics, artists and activists from different fields in the “dialogue labs” that will be focused on three different topics: Trans Masculinities; From Female Masculinities to Fem Power and Beyond; and Pornification of the Straight Man.
