Donate to COC Amsterdam?

There are several ways to support COC Amsterdam and surrounding areas. You can contribute by simply being yourself. Speak out if an LGBTQIA+ person is being verbally abused in the street. You can join us as a volunteer or become a member of COC Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

In addition, you can also contribute financially. This support is just as essential for COC Amsterdam e.o., because thanks to these contributions we have been able to make a difference for lhbti+ persons since 1946.

Together, we support initiatives throughout society and can continue our work. We focus on marginalized groups, people within our LGBTQIA+ community who need extra support and empowerment.

Support important initiatives

We support initiatives in our city and partner with organizations that particularly connect the marginalized within our Queer community. Some examples include ASV Gay, Hindustan Queer, Hello Gorgeos, Rita Communty Center and Women 50 Plus. Thanks to your donation, we can ensure that everyone continues to feel welcome in our community.

Help vulnerable groups

Take, for example, our Cocktail working group, where a fantastic group of volunteers organizes meetings. During these meetings, asylum seekers with an LGBTQIA+ background can connect with each other and get acquainted with the Dutch Queer community.

Continue to lobby for your interests

We lobby at the regional level for equality, inclusion, and visibility. We do this through the municipality, organizations, events, and various collaborations in the city of Amsterdam and beyond.

Set up and maintain our working groups

COC Amsterdam e.o. organizes several working groups, including Seniors Café, World Café, and Jong&Out, for queer youth. These working groups can only continue to exist, and be expanded, thanks to donations.
