On May 10, duo-chairs Freek Broekman and Margriet Veeger spoke at the City Hall with city councilor Marja Lust of D66 about the implementation of the rainbow vote bus agreement, the safety of our community and the Amsterdam alliances, to which COC Amsterdam e.o. would like to contribute in the future with a wide variety of activities for vulnerable groups and marginalized people. Currently, our association receives no subsidy from the City of Amsterdam. The association currently floats on paying members, volunteers, donations and sponsorship money. Membership is growing rapidly, illustrating the vitality of the association.
It is the start of a series of conversations with Amsterdam politicians. On the occasion of this meeting, Marja Lust received a "Pink" ribbon from Freek Broekman as a token of appreciation for her commitment to the community. A nice ending to a good conversation.
