Responsible for processing personal data
In accordance with legal requirements, the COC Amsterdam e.o., when requesting personal data, always indicates the purpose for which these data are used. The COC Amsterdam will never use the personal data provided by you for a purpose other than that for which you agreed when providing the data.
Purposes of processing personal data
When you visit our website, the COC does not collect any personal data from you. If you register with us, request a service or contact us by phone, we do request and record personal data from you. The COC records only the personal data necessary for the specified purpose.
The following purposes apply to the processing of personal data by the COC:

- Because you have indicated that you would like to receive one of our newsletters
- Because you have indicated a desire to participate in one of our activities

COC Amsterdam e.o. is an association. Members enter into a membership relationship with COC Amsterdam e.o., we have outsourced our membership administration to COC Netherlands and COC Netherlands has outsourced this to a membership administration office.
The personal data provided to execute membership is shared between the local association, COC Netherlands and the membership administration office.
The relationship you enter into with COC Amsterdam e.o. may involve sharing the personal data you have provided with other organizations. This exchange of data takes place solely on the basis of the relationship you have entered into with us. The personal data you have provided will not be kept longer than the duration of the relationship you have entered into with us, unless the law requires us to do otherwise.
No commercial use
COC Amsterdam e.o. will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your personal information commercially available to third parties, except as described in this privacy statement or except with your prior consent.
