COC Amsterdam and surroundings Encounter & Empowerment
COC Amsterdam e.o. is committed to serving the most marginalized lhbtqia+ groups in the Amsterdam region. We do this by organizing meetings and activities where meeting and empowerment are important elements. We do this for seniors, people with autism, people with a mental disability, youth, women, people with a bi-cultural background, people seeking asylum and by supporting, ASVGay student association. COC Amsterdam e.o. wants to be a hub in Amsterdam for connecting the lhbtqia+ community in the Amsterdam region.
The meetings and activities help our visitors flesh out who they want to be and love themselves.
We do this for the following groups, among others:
- Youth 12-18(Young & OUT),
- People with intellectual disabilities(Café Oke),
- People with autism(AutiRoze)
- People from bi-cultural backgrounds(World Cafe)
- lhbtqi+ refugees(Cocktail-Amsterdam, Cocktail-Almere),
- Seniors(Seniors Cafe)
- The annual Shakespeare club
